Celebrating Australia at Mary's Australian Garden in Copenhagen

We were delighted to sponsor a vibrant celebration of Australia at Mary’s Australian Garden last month.

Hosted by the Australian Embassy in Denmark in partnership with the Copenhagen Zoo, the event welcomed hundreds of guests for an afternoon of live music, Australian wine, a traditional sausage sizzle, and encounters with native Australian animals.

Opened in October 2022, Mary’s Australian Garden features some of Australia’s most beloved native species. From emus and rock wallabies to laughing kookaburras, magpies and galahs, visitors had the chance to experience Australia’s unique wildlife up close.​
After drawing over 800 attendees last year, the event returned with even greater energy and enthusiasm from the community. This year’s celebration also marked the official welcome of Australia’s new Ambassador-designate to Denmark, Dave Vosen.
